While attending College, Nicholas T. Lomangino Sr started his humble beginnings installing and cleaning carpet at Braun Carpet based in New York

Nick Sr learned the flooring business and began working for Gimbels as a carpet buyer; then as a Division Merchandise Manager

Joining Schumacher in 1980 as a VP of Floor Covering and continuing his career holding many executive roles for 26 years. 

Nicholas J. Lomangino Jr started his career working as a runner for Bloomsburg Carpet but soon after began selling for DecoratorsWalk as a sales representative on the road in Metro New York & Connecticut. 

John R. Lomangino began his career working for Schumacher at a Schumacher-Waverly-Greeff-DecoratorsWalk fabric Store based in Long Island, New York as he learned about textiles, upholstery, drapery and finished goods.

In 2000, John and Nick Jr started representing Kravet Inc and soon after formed NicholasJohn Inc. as they continued promoting Kravet Inc, Ralph Lauren, Winfield Thybony and many other companies.

In 2006, Nick Sr was offered the opportunity to manage Schumacher but decided  to work for the Kravet family;  launching a New Flooring Division. Nick Sr is now retired spending time with his family.

Unfortunately, after 16 years of a successful partnership, Nick Jr and John parted ways.  Nick Jr becomes VP of Sales, Luxury Brands, @ Kravet Inc.

In July of 2019, John takes ownership of NicholasJohn Inc., expanding the footprint and direction.

The NicholasJohn Inc website was launched making it easier for designers to search for textiles, furniture, carpet, and decor. 

The NicholasJohn Inc logo was registered with The United States Patent and Trademark Office
